Find Who, Not HowReclaim one hour of your week.
You don't need to get better at doing everything yourself. You need to decide what no longer needs you.
FIND WHO, NOT HOW.
Stop asking, “How am I going to get all of this done?” Start asking, “WHO could do some of this instead of me?”
I used to do everything myself too.
For years, I did everything myself. I told myself it was quicker, cheaper, and if I wanted something done properly, I should do it myself.
Letting go of control took practice.
Now I ask a different question:
Who can do this instead of me?
I use cleaners. I order groceries online and collect them on my way home. I'll happily pay a small delivery fee instead of losing an hour driving somewhere.
I've learned to buy back my time when getting someone else to do something costs less than the value of the time I'm giving away.
The goal isn't to outsource your entire life. Start with ONE thing.
Find one task this week that doesn't need you. Then find WHO, not HOW.
VALUE IT
Put a value on the time you are trying to reclaim. Not because every hour should make money, but because your time has an opportunity cost.
Now compare that with tasks someone else could do. If cleaning costs around $65/hour, or delivery costs $9 instead of 40 to 60 minutes of your time, your time may be better invested elsewhere.
FIND IT
Look at your week. What are you doing that doesn't actually require you?
Pick ONE task that regularly takes 30 to 60 minutes.
REMOVE IT
Now find the WHO. Delegate it. Outsource it. Automate it. Pay someone to do it if the trade makes sense.
That's it. One task. One hour. Start there.
DECIDE WHAT THE HOUR IS FOR
You've bought back some time. Don't automatically fill it with another chore.
What are you going to do with it?
Now tell me what you're doing with your hour.
Sometimes all we need for a new habit to stick is a little accountability.
It took me months of mentorship, practice and being surrounded by like-minded people who were also looking for ways to create more freedom in their lives. Yes, freedom from chores counts too! 😂
Now I want to pass some of that value on to you. Let me be your accountability buddy.
Message me and tell me the ONE thing you're no longer doing yourself this week, and what you're going to do with the time you get back. I'll hold you to it. 😉
